Charitable Remainder Trust
A Charitable Remainder Trust is a gift that gives back.

This flexible estate and financial planning tool allows you to give assets to the Jewish Community Foundation—and, in return, receive benefits including income for life and reduced estate, capital gains and income taxes. It also allows you to build a permanent legacy in your name, supporting a field of interest or specific programs or organizations that are important to you.

Charitable Remainder Trusts are “split-interest” gift vehicles, splitting the benefits of a charitable gift so that you and your family receive the income for life or the term of the trust, and the remainder is transferred to us at the trust’s termination.

Charitable Lead Trust
With a charitable lead trust, you can place assets in a trust that pays a fixed amount to the Foundation for the number of years you select.

Once this period ends, the assets held by the trust are transferred to the beneficiaries you name.

A Charitable Lead Trust makes annual gift payments from its assets to The Foundation, allowing you to build a permanent legacy in your name. At the end of a set term of years, the remaining assets in your Lead Trust pass back to you.
